743 George GinnNames on the buses
Connections with Brighton and Hove : George Ginn ran Brighton’s oldest record shop The Record Album in Terminus Road for 56 years serving vinyl music lovers from 1962-2018. He was well known across the world of recording and in the wider field of film, theatre and record collecting fraternity. He had an un-rivalled knowledge of film soundtracks and original theatre cast recordings. George cannily foresaw the steady increase of interest in vinyl to its resurgence today. His tiny shop near Brighton Station is a mecca for record enthusiasts and its current owners paid glowing tributes to George’s devotion to the vinyl disc.
