Connections with Brighton and Hove : Ex Editor of Daily Express and News of the World, Radio 2 presenter, lived in Hove for many years and wrote for The Argus. The bus has now been withdrawn. He died in September 2012.

11 Dennis Dart carried name since December 2001, was originally on bus No 14, until April 2004 when bus was sold.
